A holder of many electronics patents, inventor Stan Weinberg took an interest in air purification 17 years ago. He built a battery-powered personal air purifier (video clip) that hangs like a necklace below the user’s breathing zone to repel pollen, smoke, and other particulate. Weinberg’s device came to public attention through an exposé show (Dateline) that, in this case, was impressed by a product they initially thought to expose!
