TVIX is designed to head to zero, as it decays. It's designed to be held for short periods, as long term holds mean getting wiped out eventually.

Stocks do not decay, not even POS penny stocks. I'll admit that while I refuse to trade penny stocks like I did years ago, I will stop by the troughs similar to this on occasion. Just can't help it.

I'm only correcting misinformation, as I read on a lot of boards, including this one, that TVIX is a stock which it isn't.

And yes I do believe in the near term it could go up. I'm all cash at the moment, looking for deals come monday.
