I agree with it a hundred percent it’s a tactic used by 3rd parties to be able to label a promo on the stock without the consent of the company . It’s a sign that is often overlooked but it’s many times a hedge fund or an institution that shorts the company and try’s to profit as much as they can until the sign is removed . I have seen a continuous decline in the short percentage since Monday when the promotional sign was removed
