Pray for understanding and wisdom....sounds good, so one reads and studies God's word daily and BINGO one starts to understand and gain wisdom, sounds great, right? The more one understands and the more wisdom one gains the more imperfect, dirty, & ungodly one realizes they are, then after dealing with these thoughts one becomes humble and thankful and understanding of why God sent His Son-----How & why God saw fit to save mankind one has no idea, why?--no matter what one does or has done forgiveness is right there, --why it is offered?---one has no idea.----BUT--Wisdom & Understanding tells us if we believe God sent His Son into the world, if we believe the Son died on the cross for the sins of the world, if we believe His Son was buried and 3 days later arose from the dead and is now in heaven sitting on the right hand of God-- His Father------Accept this and "BELIEVE" then all is well with you, your spirit & soul. May I ?? Many folks say I believe, using terms as understood in 2020, but what many do not understand is "believe" back a couple thousand years ago-----Greek for believe means an adherence to, committal to, faith in, reliance upon, trust in a person or object,----this involves not only a thing of the mind, but an act of the heart and the will of the person.......SO, when one says I believe does one really believe or maybe just kidding themselves ------ One knows the answer, it is in their heart, HUMMMM!!! the price to "BELIEVE" might be tooo high
