You're a bit behind the times. They gave up the placer operation 4 or 5 years ago.

But hey, I understand if you arrange for a tour of the mine, and have money to invest, they will direct you to a certain gully where nuggets can be "found" just laying there glinting in the sun. But only if you have money to invest.

Do your own research, use third-party sources, and don't buy into the hype.
