With that, I asked a follow-up question and here is the more complete answer...

The SEC changed its definition of what qualifies a company to be an “accelerated filer.”

With the change in the definition, we now are allowed the time of a “standard” filer. The amended definition is beneficial for smaller reporting companies like Elite, who does not have a large staff to deal with the compressed timelines.

Under the current SEC regulations, we are now back to 45 days for the 10Q’s and 90 days for the 10Ks.
