3 years to make a million. Hoping for it any sooner is unrealistic. Set realistic goals.

If an investor has $1K and spends 3 months searching for that one 10-bagger that takes 9 months to happen, after 1 year, he has $10K. Spend another 3 months and nine months, and he has $100K. Repeat that same strategy a third time, and voila`! (LOL), he's a millionaire.

Use that combined discipline of searching with patience, and it's as simple as that.

Of course, one other necessary part of the discipline required is to be able to shut off the computer and walk away, as opposed to watching it like a clock.
