Market dropped for one simple reason and that was because the market has been going up on any glimmer of hope or progress in either the covid cases and the reopening but never took into consideration the true state of many companies. Most are taking on more debt and more and more while productions have been at a halt and at best in early stages of reopening. Many companies are taking advantage of the situation and accumulating as much financial support and sources for a rainy day . While they are still handing out bonuses and not reducing the salaries of the management. Most companies were not even open during the past few months and were not able to reduce any costs or spending which is rather ironic
