I agree. if the NNLX test is accurate then the value would be enormous.
Someone was concerned about the price of a competitors home test; $300 I believe. The competitor must think they can sell at that price and there will be customers or why put it on the market. The competitor might also be pricing in the cost of a lawsuit for someone handling the return sample and being infected by it. This would not be a concern for the NNLX product.
On the matter of delays I believe the patent and a lack of funds are the delay. NNLX cannot afford to go it alone so patent pending does NNLX little good. Another company wouldn't pay the true value of the product before a patent is granted. If for some reason NNLX is denied a patent then the details of the product become available to everyone. Why pay for something you can have for free.
