OMG LIG!
I went to the super market today
It's crazy in there. One way in the isles and standing in certain places to check out.
So I pushing my cart down the isle and hear, "Sir, Sir"
I'm thinking, damn, I know I'm going down the isle the right way.
I turn around and there was that young mother with the two boys, calculator and coupon box.
(from the story I told here about a month ago) So we had small talk and then she reaches in her purse and hands me a card. She said she kept it in her purse every time she came to the store hoping to see me again. Written on the envelope was, To the Nice Man
OMG, I took it and thank her very much and had to move out quickly otherwise I would be calling for clean-up on Isle 7. I opened it a couple isles over and she was just so thankful
So on my way to check out you have to pass the gift card board (probably by design)
Then all of a sudden it hits me, those boys need Happy Meals from Mickey Ds
So I checked out and waited outside the store. When she came out, I just handed her the card and said LIG, enjoy.
There are such good people around that I don't pay enough attention to because I get to wound up with the damn protesters, the damn virus and the damn fake news. Well that young mother doesn't know the real gift she gave me today and that was a peace of mind and a cleared head.
