Paying $7 B for a non-revenue company is not cheap. You can keep on talking astronomical numbers but market reality is what will drive the final price.

You talk as though an offer must be accepted. By the time any offer would be finalized we'd be into COVID-19 revenue. By the time another offer was proffered we'd be into HIV revenue. Then cancer revenue and on and on. BP lost their chance to make a proper offer in 2019 if not before.
