I do get the sense that the fhfa game plan is to
put out a capital rule that fits with Calabria’s
ideological bias, then have the financial advisors
respond by saying that g fees need to be raised
25bps (or more)

(and the common share price will go to hell
in a bucket at the start of the capital raising
process…tant pis!), at which point fhfa says the
market made us do it, fhfa washes our hands.

I dont like the gamesmanship, but I do acknowledge
if not admire the strategic guile.
