I hope this doesn't bore to many people.

Hopefully, at a date in the future we will be able to leverage our accounts to make up for a decade of losses and lost opportunities.

To that end, I am preparing (thru Fidelity) to become an approved Level 3 trader. By that I mean to employ option spreads to my advantage. I cannot fully engage this process until I get approval from Fidelity.

How does spread trading work. First one secures (Buys) an ITM Leap say out to January 2022. Then you have an anchor against which you can trade short term which means selling calls out 30 to 45 days for premium. I've seen this work quite well and appears to be a fairly safe mechanism.
