Some people would rather just keep losing money than admit to themselves (and others) that they were scammed. It is embarrassing to be taken in by people like Tom but it really shouldn't be. What should be more embarrassing is that these people keep getting taken by Tom. It isn't worth your effort to try to convince these people. If they can't see the evidence and history here then no amount of logic will sway them. BVTK is toast and will follow the path that Tenkay has already stated. It will drift to illiquid - with maybe a brief delay because of the patent pumping of the followers - and will become delinquent and fade away. It will be interesting to see if Tom will even pay for the patent registration. One gotta believe that dollars are getting pretty tight at BVTK now and any cash laying around will be snatched by Tom as payment for his "brilliant" management over the past years. :)
