After watching stocks for so many years I have come to realize that it doesnt matter short term how good the news is. In fact most times the price rises before the news and then goes down when the news gets here.(buy the rumor, sell the news scenero) What the news does basicly is bring in daytraders looking for a quick buck onthe news bounce, but most are usually out the same day or next, causing the price to go back where it was. In the long term the news does have its effect as to keep shareholders informed therefore bringing in more longs. I see stocks take off that have no news and have had none in quite awhile. Personally I believe when it is time to move it will move. What helps the most is when some big buyers come in altho even this does not always help. Market is a lot of manipulation. Just gotta be patient. It will have its day/week/month/years. Thus the reason I dont worry about the daily flutuations in PPS.
