Yes, on the West coast one is very blessed to get good weather up there.

One time out there went with my Father-in-law. He is an excellent salmon fishermen.

He and I out of 15 guys were the only ones not feeding the fish.

Believe me I almost did many times it was so bad the charter boat next to us we'd see it then go down the wave not see it again till we got on top.

The captain asked if we wanted to go in I yelled no way we paid lets fish.

The guys who were able to eventually quit feeding them caught fish.

It was great day catching fish.

Middle of August but wind was so bad rain coming down I wedged myself in the corner of the boat and hung on.

Thought I'd get hypothermia it was so cold my fingers were numb I'll never forget that trip.
