Shoot, Valero may be a Mirage customer.. The article excerpts below are from June 2016:

San Antonio-based refining company Valero Energy Corp. (NYSE: VLO) uses the Panama Canal to deliver gasoline and other refined products to ports along the Pacific Coast of Mexico and South America, but it remains to been seen whether the company will take advantage of the canal expansion to increase exports to Asia. Valero officials did not immediately reply to comment, but the company's investor presentation shows that the overwhelming majority of its Gulf Coast exports go to Mexico, Latin America, Canada and Europe.

Energy stock analyst Juan Leon with San Antonio-based investment firm U.S. Global Investors Inc. (NASDAQ: GROW) said the Panama Canal expansion is expected to boost Texas-based exports of natural gas, coal, oil, refined products, manufacturing, cotton and plastics to Asia. But before than can happen, Leon said Texas ports will need to deepen their channels to accommodate "Panamax" tankers, which require a depth of at least 50 feet.

"Past history has shown that federal funding can be slow and unpredictable, and these channel deepening projects can take years to complete," Leon said.
