I am just saying that it sounds like a suspicious coincidence. Delay the 64-bit part until Windows 64 is out and then make a big fanfare about it. Maybe, in the same time frame they can pull in the power issue. It sounds like Intel may be better off without Prescott, just accelerate the Dothan release. It's not like AMD is going to have many more speed grades on .13. Who would buy a Prescott anyway knowing that a couple of quarters later we'd get .9 nm Athlon64s and Dothans (which probably have 64-bitness guaranteed). If Prescott does not have 64-bit it's a DOD product. That's why I am saying that probably Intel is delaying it and putting some early stop-gap 64 stuff in it.
