I think that’s a bad idea, and would be like throwing gas on a fire right now. People are protesting unwarranted police brutality, and the perception of unleashing people trained to remove threats by killing them is not good, to say nothing of what might happen if things did escalate.
Especially after tonight’s debacle with tear gassing people for a stupid photo op.
From what I understand, the “military” also doesn’t have training to deal with this kind of stuff. The National Guard does, which is a diff idea, if that’s what you meant.
The looting and rioting has to stop, but not sure the military is a good option right now.
