Your point being?

Now, you are very free with questions for me, and I have some for you.
1) Have you ever studied science? If so, what is the highest degree you have attained?
2) After your training, if you have any, have you ever worked in a laboratory? How many years did you work there?
3) Have you ever been responsible for a scientific project?
4) Have you ever written a scientific paper?
5) Have you ever published a scientific paper? How many have you published? Were you ever first or last author?
6) In what journal was your paper published? Was the journal peer reviewed?
7) Have you ever spoken at meetings about your work?
8) Get my drift?

18 mo. is an absolute minimum if everything goes right. Doing good science is not like making widgits. You either get it right, or the community will rain on your parade in a hurry. That is the way life is in biotech, and if this reality does not suit you, I might suggest you find one that does. Most sincerely, MA
P.S. To anyone who feels that this post is argumentative, please be assured that it was my intention to argue.
