They wouldn't. From what I can tell these four door trucks are parked outside. Also the full size SUVs: Suburbans, Expeditions, etc. Some sedans exceeded 5,000 pounds in the 1950s, into the 60s, and the 70s until the Arab oil embargo put a halt to the excess. But big returned in the 80s and continued into the 90s.
