The Invicta for 59 came out in the fall of 58. It was still an example of design excess of the 1950s. It was big. It was heavy. With those two inherent drawbacks one has to ask how do you make a big, heavy car appear sleek and agile?

This is a coupe. I chose the image for the color and the angle of the image, so one can view the exaggerated sweeping tail fins. That is hardly a fitting description. Tail wings would be more fitting.
