Yup, nothing quite like a good gap down & shake out.

ABX below 20 & kissing the 50 SMA.
GDX below 20 SMA.
KNT.V just below/at the 20 SMA.

Could this be a move to the 50 SMA? There's another important support level at the $3.40, which is real close to the 50 SMA. Or do we stick around the 20 SMA & 3.60ish support level.

I feel like this movement is a projection of gold prices given the hourly XAUUSD hasn't come close to breaking its downward channel that started on May 18th. However it's also falling into the 1700 support line, will it bounce or continue to dip - time will tell.

Still trying to qualitatively rationalize the extent of the current volatility given other market sectors & my notification inbox have seemingly cooled. Fun times in the market. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and insight
