Perhaps this is overly simplistic...

but I treat this as an exercise in reason vs biochem.

With all of the historical data from Brilacidin's clinical trials across 3 indications from PolyMed to CTIX/IPIX, why would the labs test to a concentration in cell cultures that would exceed an equivalent tolerable dose in humans? It would be an ineffective and inefficient use of resources to test beyond known tolerances.

Too simple? Maybe. But, there's a reason Occam got a razor named after him.
