HERE ARE YOUR OWN WORDS:

Quote:My Personal opinion: A Criminal is a person who commits an actual crime, (whether discovered/caught or not), including time while planning the actual crime, during the commission of the crime and any time thereafter that s/he does anything to hide the crime, lies if questioned by a Competent Authority, or continues to benefit from the crime.

YOU WERE 100% RIGHT!!!

My being "Right" is only in my own mind. As a legal standard, Supreme Court, by way of U.S.C. Title 18 et seq, and/or State Penal/Criminal Statutes is the Final Arbiter.

I might agree with you on moral principles, but moral principles do not always, dictate legal standards.

There are clearly delineated boundaries in the Law. Without those boundaries one would never know how to act or react under varying circumstances. Unfortunately, some know how to abuse the system. Neither side can win 'em all.

Good or bad, the System has created, two levels; "Bad Acts" and "Criminal Acts". This ensures some type of punishment for more of those who continuously step over the line.

The problem with this system is that those who commit "Bad Acts" are not labeled "Criminals" by the Judicial System.

I agree; morally it is "Semantics", but legally it is a Classification below, "Criminal".

My Office computers went down this afternoon and are still down hence the delay.
