Just noting for example

Today the Oct 16 $1.00 call options are about $1.10 to $1.20

My previous note had them at about $1.01 I think Friday.

Friday the share price was what about $2.00 ?

So if you bought shares @ $2.00 to make 15 cents, compare to
buying 1 call (control of 100 shares) at $1.01

100 * $2.00 = $200 cost for straight shares
$215 - $200 = $15

1 * 100 * $1.01 = $101 cost for control of 100 shares
$115 - $101 = $14

So the leverage to get 15 cents is about double, in today's case, assuming someone will buy your 1 Call at $1.15 ( $115ish )

There is definitely an ability to spend/risk less and make as much or more.

Again, doesn't always work, takes practice.

Works best with the stocks you know well, technical and fundamental. You only need to know a few really well.
