I was holding the stock at one time but still check in now and then, I have to believe those talking down the CEO and the company are also not holding shares. If I were holding I sure wouldn't be doing my best to drive the share price lower.

If someone tries to convince you to buy a stock they usually have a personal agenda to do so. Not because they are concerned about you making money but about convincing you to buy so they can make money. Same is true for those yelling sell.
