Both gold and silver are super bullish charts longer term. GOLD is perhaps better than gld or gdx for playing gold. Back in the 1990's, I would buy and short NEM or XAU.

My gut says precious metals will drop hard when the market falls hard, as deflation (not what anyone is expecting) will hit hard into the end of this year, and then inflation will roar back after that. Just a hunch.
