I believe that some of the silkworms did survive in Vietnam, and that production continued on a very small scale even during the furlough. If this is not the case, and that is a possibility, then Jon will be making a trip to Vietnam very shortly to deliver anywhere from one to ten million silkworm eggs, IMHO.
Understand that even though the company furloughed its staff in Vietnam and temporarily closed down, small scale production "might" have occurred there. Nevertheless, I believe Jon will be making a trip to Vietnam very shortly. From the time the eggs hit the ground, according to FirstMike (and I speak with him very often), we are looking at sometime in August for the first shipment to be delivered to Polartec. It WILL happen. Anyone who thinks the first shipment will occur in 2075 is wrong.
Plus, due to the delay in delivery because of the virus, the first shipment is spreading quite a bit of anticipation and excitement. The anticipation of the first shipment is only intensifying, and when it occurs, it will be that much more important and historic.
Due to my Diabetes, I am usually a bit pessimistic. However, with KBLB, I bleed unlimited optimism because of what KBLB offers the world with its game changing technology. Sadly and ironically, a contingency exists which wants KBLB to fail. This is hard to believe, but it is true. So, Kim has a fight from all sides, but he and Jon are determined to make KBLB a huge success, and THEY WILL SUCCEED, as long as folks are patient.
Remember, it takes time for KBLB to build an arsenal of silkworm eggs to take production to multi-ton (or close) levels. This has been occurring here in the U.S. during this pandemic. So, patience is critical here. I am paraphrasing Sickzone who said that KBLB should be able to produce tonnage every month by December of this year. Patience means allowing KBLB time to ramp up silkworm eggs. This does not happen overnight, but it IS happening.
So, as always, I tell folks to take a deep breath and relax. From here on in, there are many good things to look forward to in KBLB's goal of becoming a technological powerhouse, and that is happening now right before our very eyes. Hang in there, and let this unfold. By year end, we are going to be very happy campers, especially once the first shipment goes out. GO KBLB! ALL JMHO
