(CYGX: OTC: BB) announced today that a manuscript reporting the results of studies conducted by Dr. Yin Chen, Vice President of R & D and Dr. Xin-Xing Tan, Senior Scientist was accepted for publication in the respected scientific journal Biochemistry. This paper reports the successful use of the company's proprietary cell-based DNA screening and targeting method to discover novel antibacterial compounds and potential drug-susceptible molecular targets.
Drs. Chen and Tan's paper titled, "A Novel Genomic Approach Identifies Bacterial DNA-Dependent RNA Polymerase as the Target of an Antibacterial Oligodeoxynucleotide, RBL1" will be published in an upcoming issue of the American Chemical Society's, journal Biochemistry.
