I'm guessing that his motivation is serving his own interests.

If REDG filed bankruptcy, all the IP would have gone to creditors. BP would have had to come up with new IP to keep any comic business going. He has been able to keep selling stuff without shareholder's interests being served (or spending money serving shareholders).

Win-win for him.

From my perspective, it would make more sense to get rid of REDG shareholders. Try to go public under some new symbol/company and he could probably bank seven figures. He would need an open economy and comic book IP being over-valued.

White Widow isn't his/REDG's IP.

BP has talked that way since he started addressing shareholders. I really didn't think anybody believed he was sincere anymore. But, I guess you still believe.
