I wish that I had saved the story or maybe wish I could find it....Any way it went something like this----A rather large church and right across the street was a college campus, well one Sunday morning right after church had started and the church congregation was full and when the preacher got up to preach, the door opened and a young man from college walked in-- with long straggly hair, needing a shave and maybe a bath also, army field jacket, you get the picture---anyway as the young man walked down the isle there was no room for him to sit and if there was the church members sort shifted their position so no room was available, the young man walked down to the front and took a seat right there in the isle, then there was a thump, thump, thump, ---this noise was coming from an old man's cane as he was slowly walking down the isle, when the old man reached the young man sitting on the floor, he slowly sit down beside the tacky young man----then the preacher ready and prepared for his sermon, just said---"I thought I had a good message, but I will not even try to match the sermon we have just witnessed----
