If the MOA of Leronlimab proves out then there will be no need for a vaccine as the theory of turning off the CCR5 receptor blocks the virus from infecting the host. No need to lock down the economy further for 12-18 months for a vaccine that may or my not work. Leronlimab is available STAT. They just need to provide Leronlimab to health care workers, first responders and the most vulnerable of the populations. Those with certain immunodeficiency and health issues and aged. Anyone else not at high risk could simply be treated with Leronlimab or Leronlimab/Remdisavir if the combo proves the best.
