I ran 3 clinics at 3 mall locations, having Doctors and nurses working for my company...We did all kinds of cosmetic treatments...and Lidocian is a cream that is applied to the skin..the chemicals are absorbed by the skin to numb it...Thus hair removal treatments could be applied by lasers etc...
Yes skin can absorb the chemicals...ever hear of poison oak?
