I'm looking for educated advice from mature minds.

Please explain to me the significance of a proxy vote to no longer be an BDC, might have on a stocks upward movement?? I am a long investor, but i am having a hard time understanding the upward move (or at least, how it will stabilize at these prices). If someone can't explain why i should hold, i may sell on the frenzy..given my volume held, you will feel the impact. Now please explain what the next few weeks has in store; any new developments, etc??
