judging by the situation in Europe vs USA, I would say it's down to good EU leadership and poor USA leadership.

Yeah, I know, H.Clinton or B.Obama, or N.Pelosi, or perhaps we could have put Comey or Brennan or Clapper or Susan Rice in charge!!

These exemplars of efficient leadership and high moral values would have shown us what REAL leadership looks like. Why, we might even get Lois Lerner to come back from her profitable retirement (on the taxpayers dime!) and assume running "Obamacare Neu", after all she has great experience from her gig at the IRS.

NO THANKS! Before you pine for central planning, you might want to look at the performance of the British and Italian systems, where their triage approach included letting the elderly die (sort of like our very own "humanitarian" and architect of Obamacare: Ezikiel Emanuel).

No thanks! I would rather be in charge of my health care, and hire physicians that I like, not be forced to accept what the government chooses for me (another good example is the VA system, a cesspool of corruption and lousy medical care).

As far as "poor" people, you cannot mandate a low BMI or healthy life habits. For medical care, everybody has access. In the Boston area (where I live), you've got the Mass.General, Beth-Israel, Tufts, etc.,etc.., the best in the world, and they ARE available to the "poor".

Central planning for medical care is an experiment that's been done, over and over, with devastating results. NO THANKS!
