What are the fundamental differences with the CTDT patent and that of the their competitors who have already gone to market?

Is the only difference right now that CTDT doesn't have DeBeers money backing it?

There is definitely optimism in a company like a CTDT if they can get out of their own way. I know they've had bumps, but it's the communication that is the most inconsistent. You could argue the daily Covid19 guidelines are more consistent than the CTDT progress and developments.

I've spoken to professionals in the industrial market as well as the jewelry industry over the last two months - i.e. distributors, retailers, manufacturers - this pandemic could create a rapid shift (in favor) of lab-grown diamonds much more quickly than we think. I do not think you'll be able to buy this low again, and I think that time could be coming soon.

Re: Jewelry Business -
To make it simple, there is a "kelly blue book" diamond 'rater" the jewelry industry pulls standard pricing from for mined diamonds. If you're familiar with the industry, they call it the Rapaport Sheet. During the peak of the pandemic, the Rapaport Sheet significantly dropped their prices, and people started pulling their diamonds off of the site. Not sure where it stands weeks later, but my source mentioned people were boycotting the site. Clearly the supply/demand is not favoring the mined diamond market right now with retail closed down, which is now leading to uncertainty about how to currently determine market value. That is a huge problem for the mining sector...time for cultured diamonds? I think so.

(No arguments on pricing, and it's much easier to trust the stone you are buying from. Oh and in a new world of digital transformation, you probably won't need to go to the store anymore to find that necklace or ring. Can do it online if we're no longer needing to see diamonds in person to prove their validity)

Re: Chip Makers
Not being political here, just real. Are we looking at a Trade War with China? If so, more of a need for a US chip making companies to come to the table and start up production. Do they have the technology to do this in America as quickly as a factory in China may be able to today? And at the cost they do it? If we have no choice, this might make a lot of sense.

The upside to CTDT is pretty incredible if you have the bones to ride it out. This one is a dog for now, but maybe evolves with a lucky break or leadership decision that goes right for them pretty soon.

I think if it does go, it would go based on everything going on in the world right now. "Never let a good crisis go to waste" as they say. Huge Opportunity for CTDT in my opinion.

Go CTDT!
