Agree somewhat with that assessment. But the NBA game has changed TOO MUCH for me over the past 20 years - it's a shooting game, defense is nonexistent except for the last 4 minutes of a playoff game, then they play basketball the correct way.

Also, television, all the pumping, commercial breaks, etc. have practically ruined all the big sports. Doncha just hate those "scheduled timeouts". Jeezus

It's sad; hard to watch any more.
