You have to practice what you preach. I have had a constant thru my posting history in that I believe completely in the science , I just hope mgt doesn't F it up, and if someone wants to slam the company they better have facts (or opinions) to back it up and show some thought went into the post rather than just doing a "drive by" swipe at the company. I don't see Yooper criticizing IPIX, he was just saying Leo shouldn't be idolized as a great CEO. Just a stated opinion that he backed up with what brought him to the judgment. Why should anyone have a problem with that as I don't see where he misstated any factual data in his post.
And may I also add, the questions he asked I believe have been said by each of us to ourselves, though most won't admit that in public.
As an example, the only 2 Presidents in my lifetime I thought were worth a damn were Pres Reagan and Pres Trump, but do I feel either is above severe criticism on a number of issues? Hell no, nobody on earth walks on water and all of us make mistakes, usually often and sometimes quite massive and critical. But they were doing the best that they could under the data they had at the time of making the decision. So it goes w/ me and my feelings towards Leo.
I admire him, for thru second hand remarks by people who have met him and whom I respect, he is said to be a stand up guy, hard worker, and loyal. I can't ask more than that of anyone.
But has he made mistakes? To say no one is lying to themselves. In the overall scheme of things has he done much more good than bad, I have to say yes because we have reached a point where our investment should be quite good.
But let's keep this board real and not label everyone as a traitor to the IPIX cause because they have a beef with what is going on or has been done. If someone has an agenda of daily harangues against IPIX, I ignore them. If someone makes balanced postings that I feel come from the heart, I listen to and reflect on them then mainly let them pass.
I have never been a fan of shooting the messenger or flaying the scout because he reported bad news, as long as the facts are reported correctly I listen to the opinion of the poster and then take it to heart or let it pass on by.
But now is not the time to take any more concern of what has been, what is today is the doorstep of Brilacidin breaking thru the wall of silence in the medical world and becoming a household name. Let's focus on the good going forward, quit looking back, and bask in the joy of having attained this point, however it was done.
My position has tripled in the last year and my cost has dropped from around .85/share to now 89% being about .30/share so I am one happy camper. Hope all longs have been able to secure a better position for themselves.
