Do you mean the name or the theater itself? The theatres aren't going anywhere, but the name will most definitely change with a new owner.


On another note...There are 105 million shares outstanding. Of that 105, 86% are held by institutions, which equates to 90 million shares that I consider to be locked for the long term; leaving 15 million for retail to play with. I like the odds of someone buying AMC not only for the 1000 theatres, but also for global presence.
