We hope you are staying safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Here at BLU3, we feel very fortunate that all of us and our families have remained healthy. However, we haven’t been able to stop dreaming of days filled with diving - we are all so excited to get underwater again soon!

In between our diving dreams, our team has been hard at work on a solution to the global shortage of mechanical ventilators. The project originated from a challenge issued by the United States Department of Defense to build a low-cost, highly manufacturable ventilator in a very short period of time.

In response to this call-to-action, our team here at BLU3 rapidly developed a mechanical ventilator using proprietary technology of Nemo. More than a standard air pump, Nemo has benefits in sensor and software technology that enable rapid ventilator development.

BLU3 Vent has undergone professional testing and is now awaiting review by the FDA for Emergency Use Authorization.
