Not following through on the Landmark opportunity could be a blessing in disguise, because now Amazon has the opportunity to get the #1 theater chain in the world.

Landmark has 49 theaters with 245 screens in 27 markets.

AMC has 2,200 screens in 244 theaters in Europe and over 8,200 screens in 661 theaters in the United States.
