Im just saying that demand will have a peak and slow down from there, unlike oil and grid produced electricity, which will constantly grow. Cell phones don't last thirty years and people are not just going to go out and buy the latest solar panel because it is 2 % more efficient then their model. Solar is a big investment and not something someone is going to be purchasing every few years. Sure new houses will be built and old panels will needed to be update, but the growth we see now the growth we will see in the next decade will not continue for generations. Then again if solar gets high tech enough he could see solar powered cell phones and laptops. So maybe they can continue in those markets forever. I was just comparing the energy aspect of solar to oil and why many industries have fought against solar.
