Physicians Adult Daycare, Inc. Announces Good News for "Baby-Boomers"
Physicians Adult Daycare, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PHYA) has formed a business model designed to fill a growing and underserved market. The company was created in order to provide effective and courteous care to the rapidly expanding ranks of the elderly. CEO Duane Starkey stated, "We consider those dear ones that have survived long enough on this earth to be called Grandparents as ANGELS OF LIFE. Their knowledge and experience are TREASURES TO BE VALUED AND CARED FOR!!! Our purpose in caring for these grandparents and adult handicapped is to provide continuing and improved quality of life for as long as possible, with the goal to take this to an international scale."

Mr. Starkey went on to say, "This caring for 'Angels of Life' we call Adult Daycare. That is what Physicians Adult Daycare, Inc. is all about. We provide these needed services for a prolonged and active life for family loved ones on a daily basis without the confinement of a nursing home. We refer to those who use our services as clients. A typical day begins when our transportation system picks up your loved one at their home. After a continental breakfast, activities such as arts and crafts, games of pool or bingo, and exercise continue until lunch except on the days for scheduled group outings. A complete hot meal under dietary supervision is served before the rest period. Then activities resume until time for your loved one to be returned home."

PHYA has studied the statistics of the "Baby Boomers" and their parents and planned our growth accordingly. The Boomer Project newsletter states the following statistics:

-- 78 million Boomers were born between 1946 and 1964. At the end of 2005
half of them were 50 years of age or older.
-- 70% of the Nation's net worth is in their hands. They spend $2
trillion annually on consumer goods and services.
-- They aren't "seniors" and reject any and all age related labels to
describe themselves.
-- They see themselves as 12 years younger than they are. At age 50 they
expect to live another 35 years.

The parents of Baby Boomers are living longer and remain more active than their parents did. Legislators moved the social security levels to satisfy the younger worker segment in the U.S. However, they left the archaic health legislation and Medicare funding intact. They simply delayed the availability of services to the people. The services they approved in the 1960s and 1970s for federal funding of healthcare were directed primarily toward nursing home and hospital care. That same direction is being followed today, ignoring the drastic shift in the aging process and refusing to address the fact that people are living longer active lives.

The "Baby Boomer" generation will change the aging process and America's attitude toward it. This aggressive "Grandparents" society will begin to take electoral control of health services legislation. This will force redistribution of Medicare funds that are primarily focused on nursing home allocation. We are no longer a nursing home oriented society while our Federal Spending remains so. There is need for change in the programs and the "Baby Boomers" have the clout and desire to make it happen. To start the process is very simple. Adult Daycare should be added to the services provided by Medicare. In fact there are pilot programs in place under Medicare in several states to pay for Adult Daycare services. Payment for these services is already allowed under the Medicaid Program. These programs have proven themselves to be cost-effective at less than half the cost of nursing homes.

In addition, adult daycare services provide a prolonged and active life for family loved ones on a daily basis without the confinement of a nursing home. Adult daycare brings stress relief to the Caregivers both mentally and physically. In many cases it brings financial relief because they do not have to quit work to care for that loved one at home and Medicaid pays for these services provided by Adult Daycare Centers.
