Auto is a tough business, very tough. Elio failed, as MANY before him. Very poor execution. Could have maybe made it as a small niche producer, but failed. Lots of small motorcycle companies still around, even they are tough. Regulations make entry in the buss very hard. I predicted Tesla failure and they surprised me. People (rich people) buy the Tesla product and they appear have carved out a market share. Good for them.
