Guys, I got out. It was fun, but it ends here for me. Maybe I was wrong by selling, but I lost faith after the appeal. I did read slash's interesting posts, bet they didn't convince me enough. Digging into the posts about the "assigned" patent had me in doubt, but I did find that the NOA on the patent wasn't new at all, just something anybody can request if they need some new paper work. The NOA was previously issued in June 2016. Like the UP counsel states "The Notice of Allowance is so important that if it is returned to the USPTO for any reason, a new one is sent out with the file reflecting the new remailing date" meaning that the recent date on the NOA means nothing

I'm afraid no appeal on the appeal is coming, but who knows. I hope for you I'm wrong (not for me of course, but I got a record of selling at the wrong moment). I'm just glad I didn't lose any money on this one. but didn't make much either.
