Why would the company not state this publicly as part of the explanation for the production issues we encountered?

I'm not privy to the company and their supply chain dealings. But I could think of a few reasons not to publicly oust a current/potential supplier.

The farming communities are very tight nit, and they have a lot of pride. Not sure if that went into the decision, but at some point, the company needs to move forward and not dwell on the past that can't be changed. I do, however, fully expect them to learn from it.

We are back on track for production again. This is what I've been waiting to see.
