Then long term investors better pray that JCP is able to unlock all of its value and apply it to a sustainable long-term strategy in order to stay afloat.

Cash is king but execution is key. The department store model is archaic in many ways. They fell behind the times 20-40 years ago. Once innovators, they are now chasing the new leaders of the digital retail age.

I do hope that they remain in the retain landscape.
