You missed my point. If you take the universe of all PR’s announcing the departure of a senior executive, it is indeed more common for a new job to not be disclosed. This is true because the set of all PR’s includes the cases where the departing executive does not yet have a new job.

If you consider instead the set of PR’s where the departing senior executive already has a new job lined up, then I estimate that 75% of the time the new position is mentioned in the PR announcing the departure.

p.s. It would be refreshing if you would refrain from automatically adopting the most bullish of all possible explanations for events relating to COR.
