Just for chatting purposes. This morning reading from Psalm 40, I came across the word "iniquities", which over the years I understood it used as sin, which it is, but looking more closely I think over the years I have been selling the word "iniquity" short by just thinking of it as sin. Does it go beyond a simple thought of sin? Then using it in Sunday school teaching or from the pulpit one will think on iniquity as wrong doing against God---or just sin. Hang in there, I am getting to my point---INIQUITY in Hebrew the word would be "AH--VON" or "A-VOWN".-----To bend, twist, distort God's law or God's word. HUMM!! And that right there is my point of thought---when one says " I think what the Scripture means is"----then we start discussing a human's opinion, now are we as humans bending, distorting or twisting God's word to fit our need, wants & desires? Well, like I often say--"food for thought".
Have yourself a great week and God Bless
